Employability Skills Framework
This website, from the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Career, Technical, and Adult Education offers an employability skills framework as a resource for investigating and understanding college and career readiness skills, such as academic knowledge, soft-skills, technical knowledge, and general employability skills. An interactive framework is offered, with information on three broad skill areas: applied knowledge, effective relationships, and workplace skills. A section on assessment is provided, for state and local education and workforce administrators, policy makers, educators, and employers who want more information about selecting an employability skills assessment. A “Developing Skills” section is available for educators who wish to incorporateåÊthe development employability skills into curriculum.
