A Human Capital Crisis in Cybersecurity: Technical Proficiency Matters: A Report of the CSIS Commission on Cybersecurity for the 44th Presidency
In this report, the Center for Strategic and International Studies, CSIS, recommends steps to improve the cybersecurity workforce. CSIS is a bipartisan, nonprofit organization that “provides strategic insights and practical policy solutions to decision makers.” This report examines the “crisis in cybersecurity” and provides advice on “how we get from where we are to where we need to be” including expanding cyber education and building a rigorous certifications system in specialty areas where this does not exist.
